Awarded Renewal of Texas Information Management System (TIMS) Contract
In August 2013, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) awarded Gordon-Darby a renewal of the Contract for the Texas Information Management System (TIMS).
The TIMS program, with an inspection volume of almost 9 million inspections annually, has been managed by Gordon-Darby since 2007. Within the first year of the original award, we worked diligently to transition from the previous contractor to implement our present-day highly-enhanced and superior system.
This new contract includes continued management of a telecommunications network, central database system, and electronic data transmission with over 4,000 emissions testing systems and more than 3,600 inspection stations in seventeen counties throughout four major metropolitan areas in Texas.
We are pleased to continue our association with the TCEQ in providing excellent service for the TIMS program.
